About Us

About fresh Care and Support Ltd is a social care organisation established to provide high-quality unregulated semi-independent living services for young people aged 16 and above across Wales. Our service is designed to offer a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where young people can develop essential life skills, build resilience, and gain the confidence needed to transition successfully into independent adulthood.

The organisation was founded by two experienced social workers, Funmi Abitogun and Hlambase Mupundu, who have over a decade of combined experience in both children’s and adult social services across England and Wales. Their professional expertise, particularly in supporting care leavers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC), and young people with complex needs, forms the foundation of Afresh’s person-centred and empowerment-driven approach.

Afresh Care and Support Ltd aims to bridge the gap between care and independence by promoting personal growth, responsibility, and well-being. Our service places strong emphasis on safeguarding, equality, cultural awareness, and collaborative working with local authorities, health services, and other agencies. Each young person will receive tailored support to meet their unique needs and aspirations, enabling them to lead fulfilling, self-sufficient lives within their communities.

Through our semi-independent model, we strive to uphold the principles of dignity, respect, and opportunity, ensuring that every young person in our service is given the tools, guidance, and encouragement to thrive in line with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014. Our service aims to equip young people with the life skills, confidence, and support they need to successfully move into independent living while ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development.
